Headmaster’s Welcome

Making a decision about schooling for your children is one of the most influential decisions that you can undertake to help establish a positive and engaging start to their lives. As you look through the multitude of facets on the Penrith Anglican College’s website, you will find a snapshot of the many opportunities that help them develop as well rounded individuals.

Education does not happen by chance and at PAC we have a clear focus on developing the whole student, looking at their spiritual, academic and social development. We encourage students to accept Christianity as the spiritual and moral basis of their life and to come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ. Students are afforded the opportunity to develop across a range of personal areas, accepting responsibility, demonstrating commitment and personal initiative, becoming self-disciplined and showing sensitivity to the needs of others.

Penrith Anglican College provides the students the opportunity for senior students to choose between the Higher School Certificate or the International Baccalaureate (IB). The IB learner profile provides a benchmark for students to strive to become:

  1. inquirers
  2. knowledgeable
  3. thinkers
  4. communicators
  5. principled
  6. open-minded
  7. caring
  8. risk-takers
  9. balanced
  10. reflective
